Before time, He was there.
He was with God.
He actually was God.
He was there from the start with God.
All things began through him,
There was nothing created without him.
He gave life to what was created.
And his own life gave us light.
This light pierces the darkness,
And the darkness will never win.

He is the light. He gives us light.
And He came to us.
The world he created couldn’t recognize him.
His own people couldn’t recognize him.
They rejected him.
But those who believe. Those who accept him.
He gives the right to be children of God.
Through a new birth — nothing like you’ve heard before,
Unplanned by man, but brought about by God.
So he became one of us.
God. With. Us.
Overflowing grace and truth
Glory, glory, glory!
